How to Order Your Transcript

Note: Online ordering of transcripts is accepted through the Parchment Website and can be done at any time; however, processing time is dependent on university business hours that may be affected by holiday closures.

Please read the following options carefully and click the appropriate link:

To request an official transcript using a credit/debit card, please use the Parchment Website. More detailed instructions, including associated fees, are available at this site.
To request an official transcript using cash/check please complete the Transcript Request  form and return it to the Registrar’s Office with payment.
To request an unofficial transcript any previous student may complete the Transcript Request  form or any current students may view and print the unofficial transcript from WebAdvisor on Academus.

If additional paperwork or documents are to be included with the official transcript, then those need to be submitted to the Registrar’s Office via email or fax. Please make notation within the transcript order that supplemental documents are being provided.

Rush or immediate orders will carry additional fees. Also note that if coming to campus for any orders, including immediate, please contact the Registrar’s Office (304-243-2238) before traveling to campus to be assured that appropriate staff is available to process your request. Standard processing typically takes 3 to 5 business days, but additional delays may occur during peak times for the university.

Sending your transcript from another college to WU

Note: The Office of the Registrar can only accept official transcripts for any transfer credit evaluations. To be official a transcript must come directly from the institution in a sealed envelope with seal and signature on security paper, or must be sent electronically through an approved agency with security features. Please contact Registrar’s Office with questions.
